We have wonderful news from former Taki Fellow, Mihaela Cesa-Goje: she has been appointed conductor of the Romanian National Opera, Cluj-Napoca! She reports that having being appointed conductor of this great opera house in September she has “spent the last months learning operas day and night.” Already Mihaela has conducted 5 operas and is about to embark on a month-long run of Rigoletto which will feature the great baritone Geroge Petean!
