Under her leadership, COT has established the Vanguard Initiative, a three-pronged investment in new opera that includes a two-year residency for emerging opera composers.

INDK Symphonic Collaboration

The association INDK Symphonic Collaboration works at strengthening relations and understanding between Denmark and India through culture.  An important cultural encounter will take place in March 2020 when for the first time ever classical orchestra musicians from both countries will work together on a week-long programme of masterclasses, studies and musical workshops, culminating with two unique concerts in Mumbai.

India’s premier cultural institution, the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Mumbai is hosting the programme in collaboration with the Symphony Orchestra of India and the Danish conductor Ms Maria Badstue.

Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Laura’s workshop can be adapted to a variety of settings including business schools and executive training.

Founded by Lidiya Yankovskaya, The Refugee Orchestra Project intends – through music – to demonstrate the vitally important role that refugees from across the globe have played in our country’s culture and society.  The Refugee Orchestra Project brings together instrumentalists and singers whose friends and families have fled to this country to escape violence and persecution in performances that loudly proclaim these individuals’ importance to our cultural wealth.
