German conductor Ruth Reinhardt is currently the Assistant Conductor of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra under Music Director Jaap van Zweden. Ruth’s critically acclaimed subscription debut with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra came when she stepped in to replace Stanisław Skrowaczewski. Ruth is also a a regular conductor for New York City-based ÆON Ensemble with whom she lead a collaboration with the Kronos Quartet.
Highlights of the 2016/17 season feature her debut with the Cleveland Orchestra and concerts with the Seattle Symphony.
Ruth has previously been Conducting Fellow with the Seattle Symphony and Tanglewood Music Center and additionally worked with the Juilliard Orchestra. Recently, her performances with the Musikkollegium Winterthur were made into a major broadcast on Swiss TV.
Ruth Reinhardt earned her master’s degree in conducting from The Juilliard School where she studied with Alan Gilbert.
